is a Board Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon who is well trained, compassionate, and dedicated to the care of his patients. He is proficient and knowledgeable in many advanced areas of oral and maxillofacial surgery, including dental implantology, facial cosmetics, head and neck trauma, ambulatory anesthesia, dentoalveolar disorders, temporomandibular joint disorders, corrective jaw surgery, dental extractions (wisdom teeth), management of pathology and many other disorders. 

     Dr. Smith earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in Ann Arbor, Michigan. He later completed his training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at King/Drew-UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles, CA in the year 2000.  

     Dr. Smith is an adjunctive professor, teaching at Nova Southeastern University's School of Dentistry Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Department. Dr. Smith is also an active member of various professional organizations, including the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, American Dental Association and Dade County Dental Society.
